AAG – Unmanned is actively working with an engineering firm as well as the local FAA Flight Safety District Office (FSDO) to receive Part 333 Exemptions for B-LOS (Beyond Line of Sight) Operations. BLOS Operations are absolutely imperative for pipeline and other linear infrastructure inspections. The FAA has traditionally denied all B-LOS operations under Part 107, but AAG-Unmanned is hoping to be one of the first.
Aircraft in this mission will have triple redundant systems, TCAS, ADS-B Out, and a ballistic recovery system, to ensure safe and FAA compliant B-LOS operations.
Currently, AAG-Unmanned can provide aerial surveys, and inspections, for every type of linear infrastructure project including, roadways, bridges, powerline, and pipeline, and although we are currently limited to Line of Sight (LOS) operations, we can achieve much quicker and more detailed data than virtually any other platform.
